i believe they were done because if you were broken down at the side of the road with the rear door open the right hand light unit was blocked by the spare wheel

hmmmm

thats how i meant to say it, but your probably sober

Why do you want a light so badly btw?

Once I get something in my head i have to do it, it's the order of things, I am blacking out the window for security (carry a lot of tools) so have to do it before that asd also has a bearing on the window grill I get.

It's ok I'm odd like that :D

my n reg has

That's similar to the back bumper I am getting :), do you find the rear ladder of any use as I can load my roof rack from standing on the bumper, I have looked at a few but don't see it of any use to me unless I need to get on top.

I've just realised that on the last D1's, what they removed was the high level indicators, brake light's stayed the same:confused:

is your's like my 94'?

I've got all 4 on an R plate commercial, I replaced my bumper lights with clear lens versions and did consider changing them to extra reverse lights as I live on a very dark farm :)

Have changed my bumper night lights to stop and tail by using freelander holders and changing the connectors to 3 pin.

the ladder and rack was on when i bought it but i put the bumper on and bent it 1st time out lol but it is handy to climb up to get to the front

I tend to stand on the rear wheel if need be, then again I ain't a portly person. Plenty of standing point's on the Disco without a ladder though ain't there?

Got a ladder on mine, was on it when i bought the car, never climbed on it, but i'm probably best desrcibed as 'portly' - It does however make a great handhold when shutting the back door

and i fastened it back on for the mot.....

Yes, cheers for the re-affixing, although i've still never climbed on it - probably a combination of being a 'stocky' person and having no real need to go up it anyway as i don't have a roofrack. Comment about it being useful as a doorhandle still stands:D
