Hi everyone,
New to the forum. Got a disco 5 2017, got a problem when attempting to start the engine. Can turn the ignition on no problem with sufficient power. I put my foot on the brake to start the engine, makes a short groaning noice approx I second and then turns off. I do have a video but can’t upload. Any ideas what it could be?

That looks like a dead battery to me.
Do you have a volt meter? You need to see what it measures with the engine off, then check again while you press the start button. If it drops below 11v then the battery is naff
