Hello all, i'm hoping someone might be able to help please.
My Disco 4 intermittently shows a suspension fault on the screen and advises driving max 30mph. Quite often if i switch off, wait a moment and restart it will go away. The suspension seems to work ok unless i try to raise or lower the vehicle, which sometimes works, and sometimes it gets stuck at one point or another and shows the fault on the screen again. I took it to my garage who is not Landrover specialist. He has a Snap-On code reader which said there was a problem with the relief valve. He didn't really know what to do and suggested i changed the whole suspension for a spring and damper setup but I would prefer to fix the fault and keep the air suspension if possible.
I tried raising the Disco to full height, removed fuse 26 and left it overnight. It didn't drop at all. Then when i started the car to drop it to normal ride height, the front started going down, but the back seemed stuck and wouldn't drop. Then the fault appeared again.
I know there is an air valve at the back, which i can see over the rear axle area. Could that be the fault, or is there another valve or something which may be the problem.
Many thanks for reading and hope someone might be able to share the answer with me.
Cheers

For got to mention the Disco returned to normal height after a few attempts and then drove fine for the next 20 miles.

Find someone who actually knows what the **** they are doing. ;)

The EAS system is pretty simple, and needs the PRV to be replaced, if that's the code that's come up.;)
