Just thought I would pick your brains I have a land rover discovery 300 TDI it seem to me like its using to much fuel I'm roughley getting 22 and half mpg in my other disco I was getting around 30 could it be down to my tyres I looked at size on the tyres but the numbers on the tyres are written down different to others here is what they say 7.50_16 c and 108/106 l super all traction the only other thing I can think of is the bloke hew I had disco of sead he adjusted the smoke adjuster but turned it back because it used to much fuel could it also be he hasn't turned it back far enough. Also the tyres are tubed if this helps any advice would be much apretiated thanks Lee

Wot were yer old tires? 7.50 arent a big tire. What tread are they? Guessing quite aggressive.

I'll try adding a PIC of wheel and a PIC of front and rear tread

Ye mines about 800 ish it was about just over 1000 I rang the bloke today hew I had car of to see exactly what adjustment he messed with it turned out to be just the one adjustment so I've backed it of a bit to see if that makes any difrence

Thoses tyres are more common on series landys and are very good tyres for a series. Best thing to do is try them and see if their good for what you do with your landy.

Thats it lol I'm going to try it out tomm on a few lanes I haven't really tried this one yet as I've only had it few weeks.

Destones are like a paddle steamer through mud.l.ow range tickover ya just keep going. Real slow but keep going
