Prolly a daft question, but do they exist? I can't recall seeing one and wonder what they are like?

Yes they do, seen a Rover Rescue one round this way a few times.

Unfortunately can't tell you much else as have no idea what they are like

They're quite rare I've only seen a few over the last few years.

Think they were only sold in the Uk for something daft like 6 months

I thought the were there for the duration on the D3 I was tempted, had a few test drives, I couldn't decide so lost out when the D4 came out. never mind I went elsewhere
