CAn anyone answer me a question about Disco towbars, can you use a disco 2 towbar on a disco 1.?

Don't think so.

Part of the problem is pre and post 2000. It's something to do with the towball IIRC.

Anyway, why not find a cheap D1 tow bracket on e bay and flog the D2 one for good money? You'll be in pocket.
