Climbed a big hill yesterday with the new chassis etc in the trailer. Pulled OK, turbo has always been whistly. Stopped at the top for a pee, left it ticking over, and all the way home it made no boost.
No smoke of any kind.
Ideas anyone?

I should add, its in a defender, and is running on the last 50/ 50 SVO /DERV mix of the year. Fuel filter is under a yr old, oil and filter 1500 miles ago. There is no roughness at the upper rev range, and there isn't any black smoke etc. The actuator rod has not been tampered with, and the pump isn't turned up.
I have a gauge fitted and whereas it used to go up to 12 -14 psi, its now showing about 1.

In that case it's obviously a boost/turbo thing.

Is the actuator jammed? Is the turbo spinning? Is it leaking boost after the turbo?

I haven't touched the actuator properly yet. Does it need a lot of force to shift it? Perhaps I'm not being brutal enough.

Change fuel filter, then check lift pump. You wont get any boost if motor is not getting enough fuel.

Check the little black signal signal pipe from the turbo to the top rear of the injector pump, pipes falls off = no boost = no extra fuel, had it happen to me once oh dear!
