hi just looked at the trafere box.
just in fron of the filler plug is a cable covered in foil.
will this push up out of the way.

Yes, it's the handbrake cable. Let the handbrake off to make it easier to move.

Make sure you leave the car in a low ratio gear to keep it still while you crawl underneath
