hi any body help

still got a problem with my cruise control not sure what it is have checked fuses they seem ok not sure if there is a relay not working.

Don't know what "still got a problem means", did I miss a post? But I reckon it will be an air leak somehere. Just keep on looking. Been battling with my Rangie and looking at other more esoteric causes as to it not working but it still came back to a small split in an air pipe.

hi yea the cruise control will not work when operated off the steering wheel.
you say they may be air ,leak can you tell me were from i thought the auto box was electronic when changing.
not sure what i am looking for or were under the bonnet.
many thanks

I'm assuming the Disco is a V8 and has the same system as my classic Rangie [I'm not in UK]. There is an ECU and it may be faulty. But under the bonnet there is a small vacuum pump and some black rubber hose. The pump rubber may also be perished. It's often the hoses that split, perish and leak, especially at junctions etc. Have a look and follow them through. Difficult to see leaks though. Also check your stop and brake lights too. If there's a fault there the cruise won't work and also the switch under the brake pedal. Lots to check out. Good luck.

is the pump on the same side as the brake servo unit ,just below.

hi is that just in front of the housing where the cables are between the cylinders.
