Hi landy lovers.. My discovery 2 is dead... well the back half of the chassis is any way.. faild the MOT big style.. so i'm thinking of a discovery 3 (i would love another range rover but we need 7 seats).. any one give me any pointers on what to look out for... ive looked at parkers ,which car web sites.. but there is no substitute for your good peoples experiences... many thanks stu...

And do a search on Disco 3 forum, there's a section on common faults, it's quite a big section......

Either the turbo or EGR replacement requires the body taking off the chassis, not a cheap repair.

How about a rechassis for the Disco 2 for around £4k galvanised?

You can buy replacement rear chassis sections for the D2,seen them on ebay I think.
