In need of new shock bushes! Had replaced a few months ago for all makes but started cracking after a couple of months so not fitting those again. Genuine ones are out of stock or cost as much as new shocks (with the bushes included!) . Is there any sensible bushes options that would last more than the all makes/britpart sh**?

We have had no problem with Britpart poly bushes on the 90 and the Ninety, pretty sure the ones on the D2 are also Britpart poly bushes (Britpart shocks on the D2 so guess they are Britpart poly bushes)

Had radius arms britpart poly bushes and they were horrible in everyway so those are now banned haha

That's fair enough, the Britpart poly bushes came with the shocks.
On the D2 the shocks and bushes are doing well after 4 years.
The Britpart shocks lasted a couple of thousand miles on my 90! The bushes were fine though, make of that what you will.

thanks for sharing :)

i have realized that terrafirma makes their own bushes, not sure if they are the same as they put on their shocks or if they are intended to be an upgrade:

just confirmed that these are not what is included as standard with terrafirma shocks but are in fact an upgraded poly bush that can be fitted to them

they are polybushes so they are not the same. They will give a noticeably firmer feel.
that was not my point ... i meant that if they say "equivalent" for the LR part number they should fit to shocks which have the LR part number as well... i have no ideea how they'll feel, it's a risk when you fit allmakes or sh*tparts or unbranded aftermarkets... there are branded replacements for less than genuine for example Bilstein which i have and they've been strong for the last 8 years or so without any probs... Terrafirma shocks are full of sh*t IMO, i had them before the Bilstein and rusted away/leaked in less than 2 years

Are you running Bilstein B6? Are they suitable for a 3" lift? Tbh i quite like the terrafirma adjustable ones they have been there for the past 7 years and have seen some heavy offroad but always looking for something better when i need to replace
