my mates disco td5 rear axel is out of line its more over to the passenger side the wheel sticks out more on that side. and you can see it by looking at the wheel then the body of the truck ... can these axels move ????

so a bush could make it go out of line ??? so its got to be the watts linkage then either bent or bushes but he reports no banging or clacking...

just had a look at it and theres no signs of any play in bushes or any bent arm that go to the linkage its out about an inch measureing of the wheel arch or the body can they be put on wrong ??? or out of lined ????

about half inch its out not an inch soz can the axel move that much on the linkage ?????

half inch is a lot for a bush ....have you taken the weight of the axle and tried moveing it back to where it lives , ? ......and to see where any play might be . ?

are the tires the same size ? is there any spacers on the wheel or wheels ? have you looked for any bent raidus arms . i had a similar problem with the rear tires cutting on the inner treads and the complete rear alex was bent ( dont know how the previous owner did it ) so keep lookin at all possibilities

tyres same size .. no spacers fitted .. its just sitting more over to the left half inch more ... theres obviously some thing bent but what ??? its got to be the watts linkage or connecting area to the linkage ...

if it's out of line it can only be chassis Watts linkage or radius arms bent or misaligned.
