Came across this Disco 2 on Autotrader that checks out in terms of the Rego, as a 300tdi !

Land Rover Discovery 300 Tdi 5dr 2.5

What's all that about? Ringer, or DVLA data entry clerk hangover Looks to be a super early TD5 tho so maybe the dealership cocked up the registration on purchase?

D2 body and inside. also says TD5, what is under the bonnet?

engine figures underneath of 111bhp is 300tdi? guessing its a TD5 though but the very first of them in 1998

Steep init. Lovely low mileage etc but no way a 98 disco is £5ks worth.
Maybe I should ring them and point out its v5 is wrong and ill take it off them for a grand!

Saw a td5 on a local forecourt,salesman insisted it had the BMW engine,I tried to politly say it was not a BMW engine but he knew best and he was right and I was wrong,enough said I think !!

BMW designed by there design team when they owned LR maybe, but built by LR.

Check the rear chassis rails , i have a 1999 td5 (w plate) 79 k one family owner

Its had patches on the front ,middle and lots on the rear on the chassis ,it doesnt live by the sea ,and never has in fact walsall mainly which is the furthest point from any sea in the uk ! .

I have to say the body is mint ! as is the inside .
