And then after a few minutes (seconds) you get one or more of these



Regardless of the amount of underseal etc trying to hide them, I think most Disco 2's have them

Then you find a really good welder and he does this for you.



You are at one with the car (at last, and only for a short while I'm sure LOL)

ok so what your saying is buy a mig welder and some plate steel - might need a bit of practice tho as not welded anything for nearly 20 yrs

I have a welder and attempted to do it myself but welding a rusty chassis upside down is probably not the best way to learn
So I cleaned up the area and supplied the metal plates to the shop and they welded it for me - took 1.5 hours. If they had had to do the prep then it would have been 4 hours so well worth doing that part yourself to save some money.

welding anything upside down is an art -- also not recommended for beginners
