So just got the discovery back again and looking to get those heated seats up and running. I have popped the plate on with the extra buttons for the heated seats and they light up. Looking under the seat, I can see two cables at the front of the drivers seat, one is black and has a two terminal connector on it, the other is brown and may be a connector to the now disconnected cd player.
From the side of the central console, next to the console tray comes a black wire with a similar connector. The two black connectors on the wires cannot come together as there is not sufficient length of cable between the two to do so.
I am wondering if the black wire from the front of the seat is the one for a heating pad and the one coming out of the side of the console is the wire from the switch. If this is correct is there a wire that connects these two together that I do not have?

Are all the seats heated in all discos? just not connected up / have the buttons

I have a lynx but not sure if they are physically wired. I need to get them working it is soooo cold lol.
