Hi, just wondering whether I'm missing something here... It appears that replacement rear spring mounting brackets/spring perches for D2 TD5's are readily available but I can't find replacements for the front ones. Does anyone know whether they're the same parts or interchangable? Given that most other brackets do seem to be easily available it seems strange that I can't find any from the usual suspects at all.
Any help or advice gratefully received.

Not something i have heard of being replaced , normally the chassis is foobarred by the the time you get to replacing front end items on a D2 chassis.

Hi all sorry about the slow reply. Thanks for the link Bantam1. I think, after a comprehensive survey of the chassis, much as I'd love to just build up on a new galvanized one... This is the plan.
New rear 1/3 chassis. As for the front, it's pretty good other than the outside edges of the spring mounts and shock towers. I'm going to fit new towers and just cut out my own mounts with the plasma cutter then finish the machining on the milling machine. For a couple of hours work I think it's worth it. I'm very attached to our D2 and I like the concept of a really nice car that I can repair myself and not some over complex modern nightmare that every new part needs to be coded in by a main dealer because they're the only ones with the software. I will, I'm sure, eventually put the old girl on a galvanised chassis but I need her on the road right now. I don't have another vehicle so she's my daily driver.
