Has anyone fitted 3rd row Disco 2 seats into the rear of a defender, and can post pics of fittings etc for me? I've done a search and folks have done it, but pics weren't great. I managed to pick up 2 in great condition for a tenner each. Looks like I will have to fit a folding leg/support, but seat belt fitting could pose a problem. All ideas welcome.

Discovery third row seats are waaaaaaaay too small for Defender front seats. I bought a cheap one and it's a non-starter.

I gave up on it mate. There would be quite a bit of work making these fit, and then there is the issue with seatbelts etc. I think it could be done though, but if they are just a want instead of a need, I wouldn’t bother.

Thanks, but they are a need. Seen another thread on here about fitting some, with pics, but it seems quite cryptic! Going to persue it at the min tho!

Also, ihave the option of using some d3 3rd row seats, but not sure which to go for... was thinking maybe make support and fitting them flat, or trying to make a fold down system, but dont want to start at 0, want to try see if theres a mech i could adapt to use or at least inspiration!
