Hi

Probably a stupid question this but forgive me... The back light for the clock on my Disco 2 has recently given up the ghost. Clock works fine so I suspect it is just the bulb. My question is, how on earth do I remove the clock? It looks like it just pulls out but so far I've had no luck and don't want to break anything.

'Rave' has not been a lot of use just stating 'carefully remove...' Any one done this and can offer advice? I'd be grateful, thanks.

I've since found out that the clock has two tabs at the top and two at the bottom which need to be released by sliding in a credit card or something similar. Bulb assembly should then be removed from the back. Hope to try that today.

Just to say that, with the credit card trick it took just a few seconds. New bulb cost £1.76 from the local main dealer and I can now see the time again on these dark mornings on the way to work.

Well went down to the car and repaired it quickly. Took 2 seconds for the clock to come out and there is a spares place across my work so got the globe and bob is your uncle. Now I can see time again in the dark.

Hi an easier tool i find is those spatulers you use for filling holes in the wall with poly filler plus its got a handle on it so prise out easy, also you dont damage your credit card, tiga
