As the title says, both sunroofs worked fine, but obviously over the winter and the last few months the haven't been used.

Now neither of them work at all from any of th buttons including the nones for the rear one accessible from the back seats. I believe I've checked all the fuses listed as being for the sunroofs and they are all fine.

I get nothing at all, not a click of a whir is to be heard ! I'm guessing its a relay, but surprised both would share the same one. I've searched here and the net but can't find a an answer.

Any suggestions before I get the wiring diagram and multimeter out and start pulling things to bits !

Could be the relays, they are housed in the ECu which is above the headlining thats above the dash.

or could be both motors rusted and jammed due to water ingress.Had to strip and clean mine last year haven't tried them this year as no leaks for 6 months now so did not won't to chance my luck.

seal them up and forget about them, they will just cause you a world of pain , if not now they will in the future...

I do suspect water ingress is to blame somehow as I park on a sloping drive, If I park with the disco facing down the drive then water gets in and has dripped out of the sunroof switch unit as well as around the point where the drivers seat belt goes into the lining.

So I always park it facing up the drive and haven't had any problems since doping that and that as well before this problem.

I've got a factory manual so I'll see how you drop that panel out, I know they are prone to leaking but I can;t have them not working, it would upset my OCD;)
