It was only cheap so I'm not surprised I have a issue. It hasn't sagged or anything until today. No there are no faults logged. I will try again in the morning with the calibration part. Of that doesn't work I'll have to look into it a bit more

Good luck. Keep the engine running while you do that and be aware that the SLS works only if all the doors/boot are closed so if there is a fault at a door switch and the ECU "thinks" it's open it will not kick in even if the door is closed

The doors are the confusing bit, as to dash make sure not HDC button.

I would also monitor height settings at bottom and when raised, in case faulty.

Not too expensive to buy new sensors.

SF will now the way to change correctly regarding keeping settings.

As far as I could see they looked ok. But it was dark by that time. If I can't get it to go back up is the valve bypass a good idea just to be able to get it moved ?

The plastic parts of the sensors can split when the aluminium sleeve corrodes and swells. I’m wondering with it going all the way down has caused one, or both to fail ?? A good visual check will tell you if there is an issue there.

If you can't bring it to level with nanocom in the calibration menu the compressor assy(valves included) or it's circuit(or eventually the ECU) are the problem the sensors have nothing to do with that the sensors cam mix up things once it's let to work on it's own ... the only thing you can do to make it driveable in that case is to fit schrader valves to the bags and inflate them with a tyre compressor https://thomashd.com/products/4mm-air-suspension-repair-kit-compressor-bypass-kit

I've managed to get it back up to height this morning. I tried the calibration but still wouldn't have it. The compressor was just clicking. I gave it a couple of taps and and you can actually hear it pumping air now. I Managed to get it to the rite height by doing it by the numbers

Hi mate. Mine never blew the fuse. It ended up being the compressor itself. It would be alright for weeks and then one day wouldn't work. I took it of in the end and connected to a battery and it's was completely dead. I put a second hand one on it and it's fine now.

Ah ok, with electrics not being my thing can I ask how you connected it up to a battery to check if it was knackered?

I put a wire on the earth of the battery and one on the live and just touched the connectors inside the main compressor plug and it was completely dead. I done the same with my new one and it come straight on.

I connected up my nano com this morning and tried to level my suspension (it was lower on the left) but alas it dropped and I have been unable to get it to raise. The nanocom says test complete each time I press the raise button and I can hear a clicking from the compressor but it doesn’t raise. I checked the engine bay fuse box and then FL9 fuse was blown as did the replacement I put in. I swapped over the relay from the headlight washer but got the same result. Would that indicate an issue with the compressor? The nanocom says the transport mode is disabled. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I got mine to kick in before when trying to raise it on the nanocom, I gave it a tap and away it went. Lasted about a month and then just totally went. Before I gave it a tap, when trying to raise it on the nanocom it was just a faint noise from the compressor and it just kept getting lower. It does sound like the compressor is giving up.

I connected up my nano com this morning and managed to disable the horn when pressing the open button so then tried to level my suspension but alas it dropped completely. I did see on the nanocom that transport mode was enabled so I disabled that and pressed the write to eco button, but I am now unable to raise either of the rear airbags. I can hear the compressor make several clicks and when I checked the engine fuse box FL9 was blown. I swapped that for a new one and that did the same. Would a blown relay or seized compressor cause that? I did read there is a way to force the car out of transport mode via pressing a combination of buttons and the ignition switch (is that the case?) As I would like to try that first. If that doesn't work I will order the Schradar valve kit/compressor bypass kit you have previously recommended do I need the (4mm or 6mm version?) to get the bags up and the truck drivable and then work through the fault. Any advice would be appreciated.

Unplug the compressor's electric connector and try then to inflate with nanocom... if the fuse doesnt blow that way means that the compressor is fubar... if it blows unplug the valves one by one and force it with nanocom after each was unplugged untiill the fuse remains good then you know that the last circuit is at fault

btw while you prompt to infate with nanocom it will only raise few cms once at each command might not be very visible but you must hear the compressor running..
