Hi. I have a discovery 2 with air suspension. Is there anyway to reset the system? I had to disconnect the battery and now it Wont go back up. I've tried raising it on the nanocom and it's doing nothing. I can hear the compressor trying to do something. The only other thing I've done is replaced the little filter behind the light with a bit of foam sponge. Thanks

I will double check in a bit. The compressor is trying to do something. After disconnecting the battery it was only the drivers side that was down. After trying on the nanocom to get it back up on that side it's now down on the left side aswell. I wasn't sure if it could be reset somehow

Check the load level sensors, they corrode and fail. Also remove that sponge it might be too dense and its not getting air, or there might be bits of the old one blocking the pipe.

It will be a sensor in some where.
Get a valve bypass kit if the compressor is running ok and pumping.
That will be a way of inflating it while you buy coil spring kit etc. 😬

Hope that helps.πŸ™‚

Hi. When you try to inflate with nanocom in the calibration menu it will activate the compressor just for two seconds each time and raise it just a little, can be unnoticeable from inside the vehicle so you'll have to do it several times to bring it up to level so insist then if you manage to level it save those settings but if it will drop again it's possible that a sensor is at fault so raise it again and set it to coil suspension then if it's not a leak it will stay on level for weeks, if it drops while is set to coils there is a leak

You could try raising it up on the tow bar to get the RHS back into range. Make sure you save the settings if using the Nanocm.

I jacked it back up to height . The air bags had nothing in them. So I used the nanocom again to try and raise both sides. Doing that inflated the bags. I saved the settings. When inflating them the compressor seems to be coming on sometimes but not other times. Thought I'd sorted it, let it of the jack and it went straight to the floor again.

Not much sense in that, so it was on the jack and you inflated the bags untill it went higher than the jack or how do you know that the bags were fully inflated? if it was on the bump stops you should have activated the compressor at least 20 times on a side to inflate them... nanocom's touchscreen doesnt react all the time so as long as you dont see the message that it's inflating it will not cos it didnt get the command, if you see on the screen that it inflates but the compressor doesnt react then it's fubar. Try without a jack and if you manage to inflate them set it to coils as i already said then you cand drive it untill you fix it or fit coils ... and the engine must be running

Maybe the bags where not fully inflated . But I got a certain amount of air into them by using the bit in the nanocom where you can type in the height you want and if it can't reach it ,it says not been able to reach height. The compressor would then not do anything.

And what height did you type there? those values are not in mm or cm, 1 unit is 1.4mm in that menu did you calculate that?

Go into utility calibration and inflate from there in short bursts

When it had dropped on the drivers side earlier the passenger side was showing 124. I was going to just try and get near that. I have tried it in the calibration part for about the last hour but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I can hear the compressor do something when I press the button but I'm not sure how much it's doing. Sounds like a couple of faint pumps or click's.

I've only had the car a week . I changed the battery when I picked it up and had none of these issues. The button you press inside to raise it didn't seem to do anything and then it would. So I stupidly disconnected the battery earlier for 20 minutes to see if it would reset itself. Obviously not πŸ˜‚

Seems that you bought it with a SLS fault if the ORM didnt work and that battery disconnection made it worst... any fault codes logged for SLABS?... even though nanocom is not the best with SLS fault codes but in the calibration menu it should have raised both sides after several "tests" if the system was OK
