Hi does anyone know if i change my air springs and the old ones have the bolt on pipe fittings but the new ones have the push fit connections is there an insert for the pipe ?? i have read an article explaining every step and it says in these circumstances you can just cut off the old olive and nut right behind the olive but doesnt mention any thing about the changes to the pipe thanks in advance.

olive has a split in it using a suitable sized screw driver place blade along the split and twist ,olive should spread and then pull off ,clean pipe smear some silicone sealant around the pipe and push fully home into bag fitting

+1 ...dont cut anything... and dont undo the connections at the compressor to deflate the bags cos you can hurt them and end up with a leak there... stab the old bags or just undo them cos if the body is on stands there will not be any danger just eventually a louder hiss cos then a part of the pressure is taken over by the stands... make sure that the body is well supported that's all
