Hey,
Thanks to all of the support on here I have ironed out one or two issues with my disco and I now find myself facing ONE MORE CHALLENGE... (till the MOT is due)
I have purchased a kit to convert to 7 seats (dickie seats and all the plastics and headrests etc).
The question is, Do I need to upgrade the rear springs?
They were both noted as advisories due to corrosion on the last MOT and now I find myself about to change them, do I need to upgrade them due to the imminent additional 2 seats.
Normal use is road use, I don't (won't) go off road, green laneing or anything like that however I am one of Jeremy Clarkson's favourite motorists as I tow a caravan quite regularly through the summer months.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Thats strange,i have not long ago converted my D2td5 from a 7 seater,to a 5 seater,i wanted the extra storage space in the side bins, over the extra seats that i would never use.

Think i would be inclined to replace the rear springs though if they are quite old for 7 seater ones as when loaded the disco will be on its arse :)
