Hi, I had to disconect the battary because i went to afghan (work) returned for a couple of weeks, reconected the battery and no joy she wont start.
Has fuel in it
battery has enough power,
think its the imobiliser, have got the code but havnt got a clue what to do with it!
Return from afghan in a few weeks and need to get it started as Im just proving the wife right, that I should have bought a newer model.

Its a Discovery 1, 2.5tdi. (got the disco 1 because i thought it would be simple to fix, if it went wrong. Hope its my simpleness and and not the latter, lol)

The battery might have dropped its charge, just nick a wolf battery to see if it is they battery or not. my regt will be taking over from you lot soon, stay safe

rodger, mate will give it a go, but even when I got the jump leads on it, noy joy!
What Bn are you?

sounds like it might be the spider (immobiliser control unit behind centre dash facia) , you can get a bypass connector to get rid of it for a few quid

is it turning over or when you turn the key theres nothing there? discos love a good old sticky barrel. the copper solonoids inside stick.
