miles from my landy atm

doing an electrical overhaul atm as shes playing the "lets not start in the cold" game - and i want to play in the snow/go skiing when i get home

Went to order plugs and went through paddocks system , went through island 4x4 and went through craddocks ....

still no clearer to which is the right spark plug as they dont list any for the disco 1 v8.

Half an incline that almost any rover v8 plug will do the job but just want to be sure before i get 8 useless plugs delivered for when i get home on saturday.

Engines from a 1990 disco 1 and its a 3.5V8 on carbs.

Both my RR and Disco came with Champion and stayed with Champion even when main dealer serviced, so I personally see no reason to change the brand. :D

Yeah.... but a lot of the modifying boys (myself included) have more success on NGK than Champion.

From memory, RN11YCC rings a bell for Champion.

Both will probably be fine and I used to use Champion because I wanted to stick to OEM, but now prefer NGK, they seem to assist underwater v8s better than the Champion!

Sheeeeeee lives

Plugs didnt help much

Old plugs no spark , new plugs only sparked if i held the key in the start position

Checked wiring to coil with multi ...... Only getting power when key held in start position , rejiggered it and was treated to the full light show under the bonnet and an engine that roared into life first turm even with no choke and only 7 plugs in in -4 and not being started for 4 months

She sounds lovely.
