Hi All,
New to here so apologies for a boring and simple question.
I want to put some all terrains on my disco 1 (16" steels). It currently has 205/r16 front and 205/80/r16 rear.
A fellow motor trader is willing to give me a brand new set of general grabber at2's that he bought for a vitara but has sold the car.
They are 215/70/r16. Will they fit ??

Thank you for any advice ,

I am? Thanks!

PS..any trader worth his salt would know about tyre sizes. You're thick. Probably inherited it from your mother as it'd be difficult to know who the father was.

Browny... I understand that you are probably new to all this t'interweb stuff... but if you look closely at the newly improved layout of the page you will find a search option. Traditiohnally, before launching into the question, one searches to find out whether one of the hundreds of thousands of otherposts on the forum answers your question....

In this case the question "What tyres can I fit...." is the single most commonly asked question by people who can't be arsed to check whether the answer exists...

I am sure you can appreciate the frustration experienced by those who are faced with such questions time after time, by people who fail to search!

As for storm.... he's just ****ed off that he had to stopp searching porn for a while to read your question!

Browny13. (is that a description of ya cock 13mm of sh*t covered limp fat)

You really are a foucking w*nker..

Ryder - thanks for the reply and I see your point. I saw that people had previously asked and the common reply was a link to a tyre size guide. This link does not appear to be working so I wanted to ask the people who have been there and done it before. I don't mind a bit of banter but talking about people's families - is that really needed?

Would the name Browny13 be referring to the colour and quantity of what spews forth from his mouth…...

The tyre topic sticky has a link for a visual tyre size calculator that still works.

Using that you can see that the new tyres are noticeably smaller than your originals.

And don't worry too much about the old timers. It's a kind of a traditional initiation ceremony here to give newbies a hard time, especially if they ask daft questions.
