Yes, I fitted standard height tubular front turrets, and they did hit against the intercooler pipe. I ended up cutting the small 90 degree pipe that connects the metal pipe to the turbo. I think I took about a centimetre off it where it connects to the turbo and that allowed it to move over enough, so that it was just touching and then the piece I cut off, I silicone glued it onto the metal pipe, where it was just touching the turret

Thanks for info, Fizzer.

I think I’ll get some silicone pipes (as I’m ‘in there’ ) and have a play with them.

The missus has got loads of silicone stuff in the kitchen.....I’m sure I can ‘borrow’ a piece if I need to stick a bit to the turret.:D

Silicone pipes fitted. :)

My turrets have a flat edge on on one side of the base to stop rubbing on the inner wing. Did yours have this as well?
As I haven’t fitted the new inner wing yet, Do you know if it faces towards engine or towards road?

Sorry for not replying sooner. I am in Arizona at the moment and honestly cannot remember. I am 90% sure that they only went on 1 way (or 180 degrees round) I did bend the edges of the inner wings, a little to accommodate them better and give a bit more clearance. I will be back in the UK in about 3 weeks, so, if you haven't sorted them I will take a look.
