My D1 hasn't sold so I'm going to de spec it a bit.

Roof rack, complete with boot ladder & spot lights. £200 worth of LED lights and they're bright.

£480

HD front bumper with Kingcone goldfish winch, approx 18 months old. Winch has been used approx 6/7 times.

£500

HD rear with NATO hitch. Very good condition.

My disco owes me £2400 and it hasn't got half the toys this one does, but I'd never get close to that if I sold it.

Your doing the most sensible thing, sell off the toys and then put it back up for £1500 you'll get the most that way.
GLWTS.

As said before, what toys.cost.and.what your.get for.vehicle with them on are two different things.
Sell them seperately

Yeah we all wish we could get for what we paid out for but we don't so would agree selling all separate or just sell the whole thing alot cheaper and cut your losses.

Okay so i broke the old girl up and got nearly £2800 back and kept the roof rack.
Scrapped the body, yeah i can understand that £2600 is a lot of money for a D1 but why pay £1500 for a 90k clean D1 and then spunk £1500 on wheels, tyres and winch when i had already done it and considerable more.

Basically people encouraging them to be broke for spares, i'd rather see them on the road.

I always scratch my head when people get the motor exactly as they want them have spent a fortune and sell them, in my opinion if you have a good one, no rust, had all the mods done, she runs well, like me spent a small fortune into thousands, and get rid,
Run it into the ground, cheap to service, cheap to insure, for the amount of miles you probably do not a fortune on fuel, and bloody great fun,
Here's just a quick suggestion before you start spending all your hard wasn't cash, just to throw it away in a year or so, PM me and I will give you my pay pal details, recession my arse, people have to much money or no common sense, baffled!!!

So is it all gone then bar the roof rack?

Wheel and tyre swap by any chance?

How much for rear bumper?

If some one out there wants a properly sorted D1 then £2600 is cheap.

If they were to start from scratch you'd be looking at £4000+ to build this

I've quoted two posts from above that I totally agree with - I'm thinking about selling my 200 series v8 D1 with all the toys and I know I'm going to struggle to get a buyer to give me what it really ought to be worth, however if I took the D1 body off it and made it a tray back it'd be worth atleast a grand more than I want for it as a D1 - but its too clean a body to do that to... I've attached some pics of my toy

And at the risk of contradicting everything I've said above, I too would be interested in the HD rear bumper, to put on to her 300tdi XS so can you PM me a price?

That's a bonny one,

For the poster above asking why i'm selling it, simple reason is that i've bought a 110 Td5

I'm lost here. What's actually for sale. And what's left and at what prices. I'll buy the 200 V8 if it's right dollar.

Sorry, all item sold and gone, i am just left with a mint body round the back of my garage but seeing i keep welding D1's up for a living, i have cut a good few bits off it to save many others so not gone fully to waste
