Purchased it for peanuts because its MOT ran out and notad a 300tdi with around 50k on the clock and I have a 110 with a tired 2.5 petrol that would love a 300tdi in its place. So I started to Break it.....

I then decided to keep her and restore her went to billing and bought a new bumper some head lights etc because I'd sold them haha .....

Got back and the rust chasing began...

Then I found more and more....

I then lost faith in the idea and have been deciding what to do for months....

The Girlfriend bought herself a D2 running project and because of it.... I have a new found enthusiasm, so I dug out my euro torch conversion for my clarke welder... I'll be putting that on shortly... Then it's all systems go. Mainly focusing on hers first (it has its own thread) and then this.

Plan is cut the back of the body off... I don't have the facilities to lift the body off etc. So this way I can mend the worst part of the chassis which is the back and fit a pick up bed. Keeping it "commercial" in a working vehicle sense. Front I can strip and get to easily as well then.

Because it's a commercial It will be much easier to make a cab I reckon. And then it's decide on the type of bed I want on the back.

Look forward to sharing the progress with you all
