If you want to fit disco axles but don't want to fit defender arches use swb rims as they dont have much offset,they fit nice and snug to the body so you don't need to alter the arches
swb (88") rims aren't really ideal (possibly not even legal) to fit with the usual modern tyres fitted nowadays as they're only 5" wide, even 205's aren't really suited to a 5" rim let alone 235's, 7.50s were fitted as standard to 5.5" rims as are/were 205's at the factory
they'll be fine though if you're going to use 6.00 or 6.50 tyres
