HI there. I moved my discovery 2 td5 and accidentally connected the battery the wrong way round ! Don't ask. The car will not start at all although the dashboard lights up with a flashing rectangle that has a diagonal line through it. I'm really hoping for an easy fix.

Any help accepted.

It is actually a flashing B on the LCD screen that gives the miles etc. The B has a diagonal line through it.

I will go and have a look again and report back. The 10 amp one controlled the windows if that helps.
The radio is not working....bugger. I remember now that that was a dog fuse to get hold of .

Unfortunately your BCU or IDM was killed by the reverted voltage unless you was lucky to be a blown fuse, in this case it's more likely to be the BCU which needs complex programming with tester but you might be lucky to be the IDM(interior fusebox) which is almost plug and play, check fuses F13, 14 engine bay and F15, 24, 29 interior, plenty of info about this fault https://www.landyzone.co.uk/search/98287448/?q=crossed+b&o=relevance&c[node]=8&c[user][0]=9153

That link may be the key to it all. I will try out the info there.
Thanks for that.
