Having finished painting my bulkhead I wanted to fill as much of the inside of it as possible with as much dinitrol as possible. I have both the aerosol cans and the tins for use with the compressor. The aerosols are working no problem.
I bought this spray nozzle for my compressor:
It has a very weak vacuum when no can is connected but it is definitely a vacuum. I connected the can and it did nothing, it then changed form being a vacuum to pressurizing the can and pumping dinitrol out of the vent hole.
At no point did it meaningfully spray any of the dinitrol out of the end of the hose. On removing the can it was still blowing from the can tube rather than a vacuum but it did then change back to vacuum although I did not do anything to make it change. I had not heated the can (is that the problem) but it was at a warm room temperature, it was not straight out of the garage.
What am I doing wrong and why is it not working. This is my first time with the compressor and I was under the impression it was an easy but messy job!
