Hi.
My eu4 2.7 tdv6 is broken...
And i've come across a eu3 motor.
Does anyone have a list of differences? And things to look out for when doing a swap?

Hi. Mate the main difference is the fuel pump and pipe work one has a distribution rail on the pump, the other pipes are direct to pump just fit your parts including wiring loom the other main difference is the cooling system has a slightly different set up there is extra supply 07 on to egr valve but if you using all your own bits swapping over you should be fine good luck

I believe the EGR valves are different as is the emissions control. Pre 7A vin EGR's can be blanked without a software patch but after that vin, you need the patch.

Treat it as a 'bare' engine, everything that has already been mentioned plus vacuum control, engine harness and coolant hoses will need to be swapped. It'd be wise to check under the insulating sock of the exhaust crossover pipe for any soot indicating a leak and it goes without saying that the rear belt is best changed at the same time as the HP fuel pump, I'd also suggest oil pump, front timing & auxiliary belts, idlers & tensioners.
