I recently replaced one of my Rear Diff mounts on my Freelander 1.8 2000 model, went to my LR dealer to ask why a banging noise was coming from the rear when i was changing down to second gear when coming to a turn etc. apparently it's a very common problem for them to wear out. I must say that getting that little buggar out was a difficult job, i had the rear of the car on ramps and jacked the rear diff up, but putting the new rear diff mount in, ****! that was hard, spent ages trying to force the bastard in the smallest of gaps from evey angle, all in all took me a while.

But to put that aside, it's working great now, ha ha, and a huge pain in my arse problem that i was really worried about was fixed with a £12 part.
