I never touched diff lock in the 10 years I owned my RR, and never touched my disco’s diff lock until the heavy snow of 2011/12 but then it was only for a couple of days, and surprise it did work and so stayed on track, instead of me drifting on round about’s (bringing the back around) which is fun.

For a few years now I’ve never be able to select low or diff lock on the disco, even though the exposed linkage is well lubricated, not an issue as I don’t need it, but if you do... use it, or maybe have the task of stripping down the top of the transfer box to free up the selector :(

Thanks, you’re not wrong :D luckily there’s lots of info posted in LZ over the years on this issue, so handy if I ever had the inclination to get the spanner’s out and look see.:)
