Morning everybody.
Can anyone explain the purpose of the cast iron "wheels" mounted in the input sode of the diff cases please.

Thanks all. These wheels are about 75mm in diameter secured to the "cone" of the diff with a bolt through the centre. one on the front & one on the rear.
Sorry no pics today-pouring with rain. They may well be balance weights. Balancing what? You must realise by now that I am not an engineer, just a hobby tinkerer.
