Hi
On my 87 defender 2.5 N/A the diesel is ****ing out of the spring on top of the pump that controls the accelerator. How hard is it to put this right or is it a specialist job?

it int hard,just be methodical an carefull when ya pullit apart,last time i looked it was around 25 quid for a new throttle spindle and seal

Ok thanks for that. Can i replace the spindle and seal where the pump is now i.e. i dont have to take the pump out. Also who sells that part?

ya can but its a bit fiddly wot with leaning over, but make sure yer park it over summit nice an clean in case yer drop summit i got my bits from a local diesel specialists took em a couple of days ta get the bits in
