Please can anyone tell me what boost pressure the BMW engine should run at and what the max pressure is, and what controls this pressure.

There is detailed info in there on how the engine works. I cant see any info of turbo pressure though, will keep looking. It does explain how the turbo system works though.

The turbocharger spec is as follows:

Mitsubishi TD04-11G4 1.2 bar (1.26 kgf/cm, 18.0 lb/Sq.in)
