hi guy's i have wee problem i seem to have a wee leak coming from the diesel pump is there any way to fix this ie putting sealant on it or something else,anybody got any ideas,cheer's pat

If you're talking of a permanent fix - no.
Diesel, even without being under pressure, has a wonderful way of beating most sealants.

If its a P38 with the M51 engine, then replacement seals are available from Bosch service agents.

hi john,how do you tell if its a m51 engine,all i know its a2.5 bmw on a 96 model cheers pat.

Because the M51 is the only BMW diesel engine fitted to the P38.
