hi, we suspect diesel is getting into the sump on a friends 2.5 disco, 2004, any surgestions

Most likely to be internal fuel rail spit common proberlum

Spit internal fuel rail common fault had to have a new head. Very expensive 3000£

More likely to be injector seals as @neilly pointed out. If you change them but still get fuel into the sump then yeah, possibly cracked head but don't cack yourself yet
