alright, well i bought my first series 3 truck cab 88" (1972) the other week, and its now developed a massive fuel leak from the diesel fuel injection / distributor pump. the leak is from a blown seal / gasket on the rectangular pump body (where all the throttle linkages go into) to where it joins the cylindrical peice (where the injection pipes come aout from). (thats the best way i can describe it).
ive been told by several land rover spares places, that this sel is impossible to get, is this true??
if not does anyone know where i can get one from??

i dont want to change the whole unit as it seems a bit far fetched just for a gasket.

thanks for any help

no one has any advice on this subject then??
i really am desperate for help, as i dont really want to fork alot out for a new one if i can get the gasket from somewhere??

i suspect you answered your own question in post 2 of this thread, gasket sheet is very easy to get hold of
