Hi my TD5 diesel filter at the rear is leaking and is very warm, I have tried to tighten the nut were the leak is coming from and this is tight but it's still leaking any answers.

looks like theres a copper washer on there, that could be split/perished??
or a split pipe where it goes into the nut??

might be worth a look

I had this once and it was caused by me - when I changed the filter I didn't check carefully enough to ensure the old rubber seals were no longer in place. Unfortunately for me one still was and so it leaked out A LOT of diesel !!!

Thanks for the info I will check the copper ring tomorrow and the filter o rings just in case
