all the time ..
it were recommended to me circa 1976 in the u.s.a. by a haulage company's mechanics
[ arctic hgv's ] .. was under a different name there.
though won't help if you accidentally get a load of water in the fuel,
as i think happened to me, and cost me a hp.fuel pump.
i brimmed up the tank .. then immediately pressure washed the car,
including around the filler cap .. big mistake !!
on inspection said water were visible in the sedimenter.
having the synergy3 tuning box on 10 'n a heavy right foot didn't help matters ;-]
apart from that incident .. sedimenter content has always been clean
i drain it every 6 months or so ..

i do have a spare set of injectors with 100k miles on them,
if you fancy inspecting them ..
afaik they're in ok condition ..
i just replaced them due to age when i were chasing an issue,
said issue had nothing to do with the injectors.

btw .. i use 'regular' fuel normally
if i've no d.rhino .. i'll use 'premium' .. but that's a rarity.
