Hi guys.
I know it's a bit late as i now own her but just wanted to get your opinions on weather or not i paid a fair price for my 4.4 V8 2002 L322 as you lot know more than i do.

I paid £7,500 for her.

Problems were:

Crack in rear bumper and scuffed.
Scuffed front bumper.
Both nearside doors had had a poor smart repair paint job done. Looked like someone had gone overkill with sme T-cut! :)
Air con doesn't work.
Air bag light on. (but didnt realise at the time. thought it was the seat-belt light! DOH!!)
Front indicators were cracked but worked.
Rear lights also cracked but also worked.

He wanted 9k but knocked off £500 for the air con and another £1000 for all the body work and lights.

Extras were:

Twin pipe, twin exit exhaust.
22" alloys with good tyres.
Tracker.
Top of the range Parrot handsfree kit (£350)
Prins LPG conversion.
Tow bar.
Air freshener. :D

Did i get ripped off or was that ok?

P.S. got quoted £400 to fix and paint all the body work issues.
Thats a full respray of the front bumper, both doors and fix the rear and blend the corner in.

How much did people pay for theirs then?

I only had ebay and autotrader to go by and i couldn't find any for that price?
The LPG cost over 2k so i thought that cant be a bad price??? :(

It's worth what you or anyone else is willing to pay, if you paid and are happy it's a good buy....simples!

Put some pics up before the paint job and then after and then I bet you look at the after ones and think you know thats a nice Range Rover.

Did you pay too much???? Just sold my 01 2.5 p38 for 4700yo yo's roughly translated not much sterling, and that was with 500e worth of tax and 2 years nct (mot). A bit sad to see it go but coundn't afford the next garage bill. But if your happy with it, its worth it. Your just having a "what have i done " moment.:)
