Hi, as long as you want one tool which covers them both with complex programming capabilities then nanocom is the best choice IMOHi,
Are you aware of a diagnostic/configuration tool ( similar to Nanocom) that can be used for D2 and D3?
Is nanocom the best solution?
Out of interest did you try nanocom on a D3 to compare it with GAP? i've never touched a GAP but i have a friend with nanocom unlocked for D3 too and i've seen it in action, i was quite impressed how many things it can do i can't even imagine what would GAP do more so if somebody wants one tool to cover two(or more) modells IMO nanocom is the bees knees for that and it would cost around 600 quid to fully cover the D2 and D3 bothGap IID is by far the best for the later models, d3/4 rr etc.
Nanocom used to be best for d2, but that was years ago now, sold mine for 150 quid.
Tha nanocom was a very early one, I think it was on its limit with the d2 never mind the d3.Out of interest did you try nanocom on a D3 to compare it with GAP? i've never touched a GAP but i have a friend with nanocom unlocked for D3 too and i've seen it in action, i was quite impressed how many things it can do i can't even imagine what would GAP do more so if somebody wants one tool to cover two(or more) modells IMO nanocom is the bees knees for that and it would cost around 600 quid to fully cover the D2 and D3 both
The Gapiid is only vin locked for coding/programming etc, it can read all other D3/4/rr codes etc.Nanocom is not vin locked, if it was unlocked for D2, D3, D4, RRS, P38, FL2 or any other vehicle it will read them all regardless of VIN, i saw it on the D3 it reconised the VIN then connected to the vehicle and all the ECUs were in the menu, here is what it can do for all CAN-BUS vehicles mentioned in the list
None of them can. Will a Nanocom delete EGR valves on a d3?
