The may all have their quirks but the Lynx lacks important functions.

I bought my lynx soon after launch. Other than the update so the bloody thing would work in the first place there have been no subsequent updates. I do like it, graphing various live sensors is very good. Using it to resync involves viewing the code in the BECM and then typing it in manually into the ems.(or the other way round, can't remember) fiddly and pointless - why not just have a resync button? Can't do blend motor calibrations and you have to do a full potentially destructive calibration of the eas rather than edit invididual numbers. As I always carry one of datatek's cables and eas unlock, that's less of an issue.

Other way round for resync Steve. The code is copied to the BECM from the ECM.

Are you guys aware of the icarsoft i930 for landrover I have one for my Range rover l322 and it works well, the best bit is direct from icarsoft it costs £99 and you can do most other cars as well.

What year is your L322? I bet it will not work on a P38.

Only if they after about 2004. Won't work on Range rover systems before that except for petrol engines.

Have one, (i930), I use on my P38 petrol and it will also read if I put it on Disco 2 on the P38. For some reason it will not read my Wabco ABS unless on D2!

Not bad for £90 and will read some live data, which was what I needed.

OBDII readers will only work on P38 petrol engines. They will not read any of the other systems. They will not read any of the systems on a P38 diesel.

Engine data? You can get an ELM bluetooth reader for less than £20 and link to your smartphone using the Torque app. Gives a mix of dials, gauges and all sorts. I like it!

For the avoidance of doubt, Hawkeye is pants!!!! I purchased Hawkeye, when I was a newbie a friend said to get it because he had it! I regret it every time I need a diagnostic on my car! No upgrades, no real easy support from company!

Would love to do so much more than this system offers!!!!

Disagree 100%, when I had had great support. You could either update the system yourself (with additional cable) or plump for what I did, return it for upgrade which was a 36hr turnround.
I found it easy to use and understand, I did get rid of mine as it wouldn't work on the Discovery Air suspension (re calibrate) but believe that has now been built in.

Now have Nanocom Evo but would happily go back to Hawkeye
