Great evening peeps ...sorry jem90 &mrs couldn't make it ...next time we could head nearer the north coast ...there's gotta be a decent pub that way ...actually come to think of it , there's a pub up on the Aggie road just off chiverton roundabout , tis ok in there!

Could be a good rendezvous for the deer stalking lane?

Nice night in the Blue Anchor, makes me wish I lived closer to Helston! :D

I think that's the Chiverton Arms, not sure, only been in there once, and that must be twenty years ago. Wouldn't be so far for Jem and his missus, although it wouldn't have made any difference last night, something came up last minute!

I noticed the Crown was open last night as I passed, could be worth a try in future, should be pretty central for everyone. :)

Eh up guys, bit ****ed off that we couldn't make it last night, would have been good to meet y'all!... Yeah, it is the Chivy Arms, very popular at the moment but we don't mind travelling wherever the next meet is :)

Any suggestions will be considered ;) Don't mind a run out sometimes, see somewhere different.

Afraid probably not until we come back from Scotland at the beginning of July though, busy with silaging and other farm stuff til we go.

Bodmin is fairly central, but I don't know it well enough to recommend a venue.
Anyone local to that area, who knows somewhere nice?

Are you going to Bristol & West , Trewey?

Not decided yet.
I've got my planning permission through now, so I'm a bit busy working on my own place as well as other people's!
I'll decide on the Friday probably, depending on whether I've got the roof off the house or not.

My memory is that there aint many nice places in Bodmin itself  Maybe out of town somewhere. I will give it some thought for later in the summer :)

maybe somewhere just off the A30 that's easy access for all , don't know Bodmin well at all ...only the bypass ..:D

Maybe ( a bit later in the summer ) we could have a sunday afternoon meet up at Jamaica Inn, I'm thinking along the lines of as many cornish Lzers as poss , or anywhere thats got a decent sized car park an refreshments ..Colliford lake have a pub and car park - i think ..may have to ask oddie.

The pub in St Neot, which Oddie says is called the London Inn, could be an option. Would have to be middle of July, weeknight would be best for us.
Anyone interested, post up some dates that would be good for you.

The London Inn is nice, but not the easiest to get to.
How about Lanlivery? The pub there (can't remember it's name) has a hooge car park and is really nice. Not far off the Snozzle Losty road.

I don't know it, but I can see it on the map. That would be fine for me too, although I would approach from the main A30.
We are back first week in July, out showing Sats 12th &19th, other than that any evening is fine. :)

Sorry to but in on your thread but I'm trying to find a pay and play site in Cornwall do you know if the site between Bugle and Bodmin is still going?
The other one is near Truro I've been told, any help would be appreciated. I live on the Roseland and I can only find one green lane near me although their is a pub at the end of it:) cheers :beer2:

Not a problem. Anyone can post if they want :)

Baldhu is probably the site near Truro, some of the guys on here go there, try a search on the forum, or google it, I haven't been for about fifteen years myself, but it is still open.

There are a few other lanes about, although it isn't a great area for them. Try the county council online definitive map, look for byways open to all traffic.
