i love the fact that he thinks a rocker shaft is also known as a camshaft, then tries to tell us he modifies heads, ha ha ha ha.................

ere, is hairdressing classed as modifying heads, maybe hes a gaylander driver ;)

MHM Charles's engine is a TD5, so as he rightly states it does indeed have an overhead camshaft

What's Charles's injun gorra do wiv it?
It wur Phill what said his 2.25 had a camshaft as part of the head.:D

i think that was his sense of humour coming through

Hoy ! You accusing me of having a sense of humour?

I thought I had an old cracked series 2,25 head here. I was going to leccy-weld an old camshaft onto the valves..... and let the man have it.

Then I remembered, the camshaft has to turn.

I am ashamed to admit it -- TD5 Disco .... had to take all the injectors out at 30k miles to fix those stupid washers. What a crap system.

sounds like you have a ford pinto motor , is the exhaust manifold on the left as you look at it from the front ?

well as you said you have a petrol ohc , well it aint a 2.25 landrover engine , so what is it ? ford was a fairly popular swap a while ago , im not taking the **** .

why int it a land rover engine? dont they make 2.25 litre engines?

fink the point hinkster was trying to make was if it is an OHC then it can't be a LR engine so it could be a pinto and whasisname who started this thread can't tell the diference between a 2.25 LR OHV engine and a ford OHC engine

they never made a 2.25 ohc , they used a rover ohc in the freelander , but there gutless , dont see why anyone would go to the trouble , and fit one in a series ,
