And in the description of the vid, they claim in took 2 JCBs to get it out in the end. Tools.

i don't quite understand why someone would write that anyway... either not mention the final recovery solution, or write what actually happened, not make up some random s**t about jcb's!

Maybe they were from the bobble hat brigade and didn't want to admit landy's are cool...

Well done. Looks like it would have come out backwards more easily. Soft, soggy grass can be a total mare - big tyres needed.
 
The trouble with going backwards was the ground was even softer/boggier due to that being the place it dumped all of its water, so would of led to an even bigger problem.

We did pull it backwards a foot or so, as that then gave it/us a run-up out of the front rut it dug itself into when going for the grand finale pull forwards. :cool:
