I am going to have a rebuild done on my 90 as the chassis is rotten, i have found this company 'designa chassis' which seem pretty good. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them or even heard of them?!

I would go for 'item B'

Flamin ell thay want over 1300 quid for a pair of second hand axles!!!!!!!!!

So from what I see, their option B is not a rebuild on a new chassis but is for the supply of a new chassis plus 2nd hand axles, new springs etc i.e. a rolling chassis. £1400 on top of the chassis price seems steep for axles and springs plus a simple bolt together job.

If you look at one of their other pages, they offer to rebuild your landy onto a new designa chassis starting from £1000 obviously plus the cost of the chassis so say £2000 for the rebuild of your landy. Surely that is a better option than "option B".

Thanks gidgrace, i seemed to have read it all wrong :doh:. I cant however seem to find the bit your talking about them doing the rebuild for us . Cheers.

Try Specialist 4 x 4 near Bishop Auckland, County Durham. They'll even collect your vehicle. New Richards Chassis, suspension, brake lines, full exhaust, etc etc.
